Executive Director Search
The requirements of Jane Garibay’s state representative position are becoming far more demanding with some of her new and increased responsibilities, which is a credit to her as a legislator. Unfortunately, that means she will be leaving First Town Downtown as of December 31. It is with mixed feelings that Jane made the decision, but she said, "This a wonderful opportunity for a new director to work with the Board of Directors and volunteers during an exciting time for Windsor. I will miss the daily activities at FTDT but as co-chair of the Main Street Working Group at the Capitol, I will continue to advocate for vibrant and walkable Main Streets." We are looking for someone who has the following strengths: * Works well with people * Good communicator *Strong with events * Willing and able to be “hands on” for events, etc. * Flexible and able to work remotely potentially * A strong and active “face of the organization” to seek sponsorships, network, connect with the community If you are interested in this position, or know someone who would be great in this role, please download the Executive Director job description below.
