Community Mask Mandate in Effect

Community Mask Mandate in Effect

In partnership with surrounding towns and in accordance with Governor Lamont’s Executive Order 13A, the Town of Windsor is putting a town-wide mask mandate into effect on August 21, 2021.

This mandate is for all persons over the age of two who enter indoor spaces that are frequented by the public. Those who are seated and eating or drinking at restaurants are exempt as are those persons that have a valid written medical exemption.

This action is for everyone’s safety and to avoid future shut-downs or capacity mandates. Hartford County’s transmission level is currently categorized as substantial (or red) according to CDC data. Once the transmission level drops to moderate (or yellow) or less, the mandate will be eased.

Details and the complete text of the Emergency Order Regarding Mandatory Use of Face Masks in the Town of Windsor can be viewed by clicking the More Info link below.
