Only a couple more days to donate backpacks and school supplies for our drive for Windsor's middle school and high school students in coordination with the Windsor High School Reunion Bash!

Please drop off donations at any of these locations:

Items needed: planners, notebooks, binders, pens, pencils, highlighters, USB chargers, TI-83 Plus graphing calculators, pocket folders, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, gift cards

Virtual public informational kickoff meetings for the Connecticut State Rail Plan 2021-2025 will be held on Tuesday, August 31 at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 2 at 1:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. and aired live via the Microsoft Teams “Live Event Links" listed below. Registration is not required. All meetings will present the same content.

The Department will accept comments for 45 days following the virtual kickoff meetings until October 15, 2021. Comments should be submitted to the email address above.

Farmers Market


The 2024 Farmers Market takes place each Thursday June 20, 2024 through October 17, 2024 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center.

This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, honey, books and more, along with live music!
