Time is getting short if you'd like a Heritage Brick to be installed in the brick patio this fall. Order by Sept 2nd!
We offer engraved bricks as a unique way to memorialize loved ones, commemorate special events, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, births, and recognize civic groups, youth athletic teams, businesses, and volunteers. Visit the heritage bricks already in place and you will be sure to recognize many Windsor people and organizations!
The engraved bricks are installed in the brick patio on the Town Green across from Central Street every June and October. The last day to order a brick for the October installation is Monday, September 2nd. When purchasing a brick, you can add up to 3 lines of 20 characters each for your special message. Select symbols can also be added. The cost of a heritage brick is $50.

First Town Downtown is pleased to partner with the Windsor Chamber of Commerce and CVS Pharmacy to provide Windsor companies the chance to schedule flu clinics on-site for their employees. The CDC recommends that people get a flu vaccine by the end of October, though getting vaccinated later can still be beneficial and vaccinations are offered throughout the flu season.
“It’s more important than ever to get a flu shot,” says First Town Downtown Director, Jane Garibay, “Employers need to do everything they can to help keep their staff healthy. Offering on-site flu shots is an easy way to do that.”

Sharran Selig is a lifelong Windsor resident, having graduated from Windsor High School in 1966. She attended Hartford College for Women earning her associates degree in liberal arts. She has served as Vice President of Bill Selig Jewelers, President of the Connecticut Jewelers Association, member of the board of directors of North Central Tourism District and President of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce. Sharran was one of the founders of First Town Downtown. She has two children, four grandchildren and a rescued Cocker Spaniel named Izzy.
