Welcome to the First Town Downtown’s “Make Life Sweet” fundraiser in partnership with Sandy Hook’s Maple Craft Foods, who will donate 40% of your purchases to help First Town Downtown develop vibrant recreational, economic and cultural activity for Windsor Center well into the 21st century.
That’s right, you and your loved ones get to enjoy award-winning, local maple products, while helping to raise money to support FTDT! It doesn’t get much sweeter than that!
STEP 2: Enter FTDT as the coupon code at checkout, and Maple Craft Foods will donate 40% to First Town Downtown AND, if your shipping address is within a 9 mile radius of Windsor, you'll get free shipping, too!!
The next Heritage Brick Installation will be in the Fall 2020.
Thanks to Marty McMahon of Edward Jones for sponsoring the Heritage Brick program for the year July 2020 - June 2021!
First Town Downtown offers engraved bricks as a unique way to memorialize loved ones, commemorate special events, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, births, and recognize civic groups, youth athletic teams, businesses, and volunteers. Visit the heritage bricks already in place and you will be sure to recognize Windsor people and organizations!
The engraved bricks are installed in the brick patio on the Town Green across from Central Street every June and October. The last day to order a brick for the October installation is Monday, September 2nd. When purchasing a brick, you can add up to 3 lines of 20 characters each for your special message. Select symbols can also be added. The cost of a heritage brick is $50.
We're thrilled to announce that the First Town Downtown Farmers’ Market for 2020 will go on! It will run from July 2 through October 15 on Thursdays from 3:30 - 6:30 pm at 240 Broad Street in Windsor Center (freshly paved!). This well-attended local marketplace in Windsor Center includes locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, herbs, eggs, cheese, skincare products, candles and more.
We are very excited to be moving forward with the Farmers' Market with new guidelines to keep everyone safe. Masks are required.
