Designers, thank you to those of you who signed up for this year's Upcycled Pollinator Planter Challenge!

We'd love to see your planters in progress! Please send photos to Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace - they both have FREE sections. Also every town in America has a Buy Nothing Facebook page, for example BUY NOTHING WINDSOR You can join if you're a Windsor resident, and post your need for a free chair, or free item/materials that could be used for a planter. Your local dump might have a shed with free offerings too, like the Windsor Transfer station does.

I want to paint my piece what paints do you recommend?
Outdoor latex, or outdoor and patio acrylic craft paints. Varnishing your piece if needed. also helps to preserve longevity of a planter.
