Give a uniquely Windsor gift and take some history home with you this holiday season at Windsor Historical Society! Stop by on Saturday, December 6th from from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the town-wide Holiday Kickoff for some special seasonal shopping at the Society’s museum store. Check out books, Christmas ornaments, toys, Windsor-branded items, and more, all with a special, one-day 15% off sale!

Looking for something to do with the kids while shopping? Feeling creative? Visit the Society’s event space to make a pomander ball. These classic, Christmas oranges, beautifully studded with patterns of cloves, are found in many house museums during the holidays. Learn their history and make one of your own during this festive workshop held during the Holiday Shopping event.

Pomander materials will be available from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. No registration needed. Estimated time to complete the project: 20 minutes. Cost $5.
