Time:10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Location:James Selig Estate Jewelry & Antiques
On Saturday, May 7th from 10 am to 3 pm, James Selig Estate Jewelry and Antiques is holding a "pop up" market and estate sale on the lawn in front of their shop on Broad Street in Windsor.

"We knew it was going to be a fantastic opportunity to bring some attention to our retail shop," says owner Sharran Selig about the Craft Fair that the Windsor Lions Club is holding that Saturday. Geissler's Supermarket is also holding a sidewalk sale that day, which is also very popular, and Oliver Ellsworth is holding a tag sale as well.

The brother and sister owners decided to contact local artisans who had missed out on vending at the Lions Craft fair to have a table in front of their store. "There are some amazingly creative craftspeople in Connecticut," says Selig.

Selig's will be presenting four local artists in their pop up shop: Recycled by Robin, from Haddam, offering one of a kind tote bags, ornaments, pet beds, and other items made from discarded (and cleaned) pet food bags, sweaters, baling twine and other items found around the farm. Proceeds support Robyn's rescue animals and other causes like the Windsor Monarch Project.

Second Cut, from Suffield, is a woodworking crafts business makes hand-crafted charcuterie boards, unique home decor accents, and more.

Irene Hilbert, a artist from Windsor, will be offering many useful household items featuring her lovely artwork including placemats, greeting cards and prints.

Tom Whitehouse is a carpenter from Windsor who makes birdhouses from reclaimed wood and found objects.
