The Windsor Garden Club will host the 2019 Garden Tour, A Midsummer Gardeners’ Dream, in Windsor, CT, on Saturday July 13, 2019, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., rain or shine.
The self-guided tour through properties in Connecticut’s first town, will feature garden spaces, including several private home gardens, an agricultural research space and a very special sculpture garden.
Each garden space is unique, highlighting some of Windsor’s most creative and skilled gardeners’ visions in shade to sunlit spaces, some enhanced by the work of local artisans.
Unique to the 2019 WGC Tour is a commemorative piece of garden art created by Windsor’s own, Lon Pelton for raffle following the tour. Pelton’s garden of imaginative sculptures using repurposed materials will also be featured on the garden tour.
