Would you like to learn more about Windsor’s Black history, or share some of your own? Join friends at Windsor Historical Society for an informal lunch conversation! Bring your lunch and meet in person at the Historical Society from 12 to 1:30 PM for a fun and engaging discussion of “Work and play – growing up Black in Windsor”. What was it like growing up Black in majority-white Windsor? How has life in the town changed over the years?

Researcher Marcia Hinckley and historical society staff Michelle Tom and Sulema DePeyster will share fascinating historical resources and guide conversation, with plenty of opportunities for sharing and discussion. Bring stories or photos of your own to share, and join the conversation!
