The Windsor Monarch Project

The Windsor Monarch Project
First Town Downtown is excited to announce the start of the Windsor Monarch Project. We are working to create and maintain a butterfly habitat along the Windsor Center River Trail. The town has approved almost 1000 sq ft for the habitat in several areas along the trail. We plan to clear and plant these areas with a variety of flowers and native plants rich in nectar and food source.

Butterflies are a sign of a healthy environment and ecosystem. With your sponsorship, you and/or your business can ensure Windsor's continued health and beauty.

In addition to environmental benefits, butterfly habitats are a common point of interest for many tourists. Your investment in the Windsor Monarch Project will also serve as efforts to bring in more foot-traffic on the River Trail and in Windsor Center. The butterfly habitat will be a great addition for Windsor residents and visitors alike.
