A Truly Tasty Taste of Windsor

A Truly Tasty Taste of Windsor

Enthusiastic people came from far and wide to enjoy extraordinary food and drink at the 6th annual First Town Downtown event "A Taste of Windsor" held at Loomis Chaffee School. The evening was filled with a wide variety of appetizers and main dish samplings donated by Windsor's own unique restaurants: Bart's Beanery, Bear's Smokehouse, Concorde’s Restaurant, Dom's Broad Street Eatery, Get Baked, Izote Southwest Grill, Jim's Pizza, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, Moneta Moments, Sweet Harmony Café, The Bean @226, Union Street Tavern, and Windsor Asian Bistro.

Eighteen fabulous wines presented by Bert's Spirit Shop and impressive libations by Back East Brewing, Broad Brook Brewery and Waypoint Spirits were enjoyed thoroughly. Local rockers Fence Incident kept the crowd entertained throughout the evening. The tea cup auction was a big hit with wine gift baskets, dinner packages and other prizes. And one lucky lady, Amber Williams won the diamond necklace donated by Bill Selig Jewelers.
