Progress in 2017

Progress in 2017
As the year draws to a close we'd like to take a moment to pause and reflect on all that we've achieved this year:

- To start our fiscal year, in July, new directors were installed.
- We held several public events that showcase the charm of our center, like our old fashioned Carol Sing, Nightmare on Broad Street, and Summer Concerts (in partnership with the Windsor Chamber of Commerce).
- We completed the First Impressions program with the Town of Enfield to get unbiased feedback on our downtown.
- We put on a rousing country music "Hoe-Down" dance to assist us in our fundraising efforts.
- We held two Heritage Brick ceremonies with 18 new engraved bricks installed on the brick patio on Broad Street.
- We held three well-attended Main Street Matters morning discussions detailing and planning progress in the center.
- The Farmers' Market served a record number of green shoppers and worked with the Windsor Food and Fuel Bank.
- We participated in the grand opening ceremony for the new Windsor Station Apartments.
- We welcomed new businesses like Fair Street Crafts into downtown and saw revitalization such as the revamping of Nat's Real Pit BBQ, and more.
- We worked with a grass roots Windsor environmental group to create The Monarch Project on our walking trails.
