Connecticut Main Street (CMSC) presented Connecticut’s history with transit-oriented development, reviewed three distinct case studies and looked to the future of TOD in CT.

Challenge: The 2025 Upcycled Planter Challenge takes place June 21st through June 30th and coincides with the Windsor Garden Club’s Garden Tour on June 28th.
Design: Designers, artisans, and local gardening enthusiasts will be crafting butterfly-friendly planters from a variety of unusual items. We expect to have about forty upcycled planters on display at various sponsor locations, businesses and on the Windsor Town Green for viewing before the final voting and challenge on June 28, 2025.
Vote: Vote for your favorite planter and the designer with the most ‘likes’ will receive a prize! You’ll also have the unique opportunity to take one of these artistic, one-of-a-kind planters to your own home, by bidding for it in the online auction. Pickup will be on July 1st.
