Rescheduled to July 28th - Hartford Steel Band - 7:00 pmEstablished since 1989, the Hartford Steel Symphony has been providing musical enjoyment around the New England Area for many years. Our musical genre consists of Soca, Calypso, Reggae, Pop, Classical, Gospel and Jazz; all with an island rhythm. The band is comprised of members that have all competed in several years of steel band competitions and musical extravaganzas. With these countless performances, the band has continually finished at the top of the competition. Besides competitive playing, the band has enjoyed playing with celebrity figures in a host of charity, personal and independent events. Among these celebrity performances, we have had the honor of hosting events with Bernadette Peters and Aundrey Hepurn. The band has also performed with other musical tycoons such as The Hartford Symphony Orchestra as well as one of Steels bands greatest panist, Len 'Boogsie' Sharp.
