Families Learn & Play with History
Have you wanted to visit Windsor Historical Society, but can’t wait until we open at 11 AM? Bring the whole crew on the first Saturday of the month, and from 9 to 11 AM, enjoy our Windsor history galleries, Hands-on-History Learning Center (come see our new train table), and the completely hands-on Strong-Howard House. Scavenger hunts are available, and you can explore at your own pace. Perfect for even the youngest learners (crawling is encouraged), we’ll have guides nearby to answer questions you might have as you play.

Regular house tours will still be held at 11 AM and 1 PM, and the research library will be open from 11 AM to 4 PM. Cost: Windsor history galleries and Hands-on-History Learning Center: FREE (as always); Strong-Howard House: children 12 and under, teachers, and members are FREE, adults $8, students and seniors $6. Admission covers the whole day if you decide to stay. Next First Saturday date: December 3.
