360 Federal Credit Union Announces Free Electronic Recycling Day
360 Federal Credit Union, in partnership with FEW.R Corp., invite the public to bring their outdated electronic items to the Windsor Town Hall at 275 Broad Street Windsor, CT for free electronic recycling. The event will take place on Saturday, September 26th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Electronic items accepted include: TVs*, CRTs*, radios, alarm clocks, amps, cable boxes, camcorders, cameras, DVD players, tape decks, VCRs, video games, power tools, PDAs, pagers, iPods, CPUs, PCs, inkjet cartridges, laptops, LCDs, drives (internal, zip, DVD, tape, CD, etc.), MP3 players, printers, servers, scanners, routers, projectors, typewriters, navigation systems, car stereos, computer mice, cables, phones, keyboards and more.

The following fees (cash only) will apply for TVs and CRTs, up to 27” is $15 and larger than 27” is $20. Note: 360FCU will pay for the first 50 TVs or CRTs (limit one per vehicle).

The CRTs collected on event day, through FEW.R Corp, will be processed in the U.S. on behalf of New Leaf Refining (a sister corp.) using proprietary methods. FEW.R Corp. will provide a Certificate of Destruction for any items that may contain sensitive data.

Free E-Waste Recycling’s mission is to provide a free and economical alternative for the disposal of electronic products.

FEW.R is dedicated to providing top quality, up-cycled material back to the consumer so that they may benefit from a 100% recycled US product alternative instead of outsource importing They hope to build in the consumer, a positive feeling about the products they handle that are recycled and processed within North America using their own processing centers and other responsible recycling partner facilities. They do not and will not send anything to underdeveloped nations for processing.
