Blue Skies Big Band Lawn Concert
An evening of Big Band music out on our lawn. Free to attend. An offering will be taken to support the band and the church. All are welcome. Food available to purchase.

Blue Skies Big Band (http://www.blueskiesbigband.us) is a 19 piece swing orchestra featuring both male and female vocalists, a full horn section and a full saxaphone section to boot. The musicians of Blue Skies Big Band have been playing in the area for years, many with more than 25 years of personal experience!

Blue Skies Big Band captures the energy and optimism that was the hallmark of swing music during its’ heyday. Picture war bonds and “Rosie the Riveter” and the fantastic sounds of notables like Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Artie Shaw, and Benny Goodman. The band also features songs from more contemporary artist like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin, right up to today’s favorites, Harry Connick Jr, and Michael Buble.
