Citizen Academy – Life in a Vernal Pool

Join the staff of Northwest Park on Saturday, April 9th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for Citizen Science- Life in a Vernal Pool. A great program for adults and young adults who want the opportunity to explore and learn more about this unique habitat. Participants will learn to identify a vernal pool, hear the importance of these habitats on the environment, and also get a chance to see what obligate species have already inhabited for the season! Get down and dirty in the name of science! Recommended for ages 10 and above. The cost is $10.00 (Windsor resident), $15.00 (non-resident). Registration required.
