Bluegrass Music comes to Northwest Park

The Northwest Park Coffeehouse Concert Series offers a night of bluegrass music with GRASS ROUTES on February 4th at 7:30 p.m. at the Northwest Park Nature Center in Windsor, Ct.

GRASS ROUTES is a five-piece bluegrass band from central Connecticut. Since 1980 they have been delighting audiences with a repertoire ranging from traditional bluegrass standards to folk and contemporary songs. Skillful instrumental work and strong vocals give GRASS ROUTES their own characteristic sound. The band has appeared on radio, TV and at major concerts bluegrass festivals throughout the Northeast, performing with a musical style that appeals to audiences of all ages.

The Northwest Park Nature Center is a handicap accessible facility located in Windsor, Connecticut. For ticket information and reservations on line at www.northwestpark.org or call the park at 860-285-1886. Proceeds from the concert will benefit environmental studies at the Park
