Controlling Invasive Plants

Before you put spade to sod learn about Invasive Plants

The Windsor Conservation Commission and the Windsor Garden Club are co-sponsoring a Public Education Forum on Invasive Plants, Thursday, April 20, at the Windsor Town Hall from 6:30-8:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend this Free Forum to lean about types of invasive plants, how they are impacting our natural habitats, landscapes, and personal property; and what can be done to control them.

Featured presenters are Todd L. Mervosh, PhD, General Manager of TM Agricultural & Ecological Services, LLC and James Govoni, President of the Tree Wardens Association of Connecticut, Member of the State of CT Vegetative Management Task Force, Tree Warden of Windsor and a member of the Windsor Town Council.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn from the experts, ask questions, and discover ways to solve this growing problem affecting native and indigenous plants. Refreshments served.
