“Money Matters” Youth Summit
“Money Matters” Youth Summit is a conference for high school teenagers at 330 Windsor Avenue Community Center from 9:30am – 3:30pm on Saturday, March 25. Money Matters will feature interactive workshops exploring banking (including electronic banking), applying for auto and student loans, understanding your paycheck and taxes, an introduction to investing, and much more. Participants will also have the opportunity to sign up for a checking account. This conference will include breakfast, door prizes, lunch, and many take home lessons about how to manage your money. This program is free and registration is limited to the first 70 people. Register online or at the Recreation and Leisure Services Office located at 599 Matianuck Ave. 860-285-1990.
