As the Shad Always Return to Windsor, so do the great New England organizations, businesses, food vendors, crafters, exhibitors, parade participants and live entertainment to the Windsor Shad Derby - Windsor's Most Beloved Festival and New England Springtime Tradition !!!

Hosted by the Windsor Jaycees, in association the Windsor Shad Fest Bureau, this year's Shad Derby Green Activities and Parade take place on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 from 9am to 4pm.

The Windsor Town Green will be packed with plenty of local entertainment - magicians, games, fun surprises, vendors and family fun activities for all ages. The highlight of Derby Day is the Shad Derby Parade that kicks off at 11:30am.

There is so much fun packed onto the Windsor Town Green that it is easy to see why thousands of people flock to Windsor every year on the third Saturday in May for Shad Derby Day - truly Windsor's Most Beloved Festival !!!
