The Windsor Art Center will open The Art Educators Show: Inspiring The Next Generation of Artists, a group show consisting of six artists who have dedicated their lives to inspiring and shaping the next generation of creative minds. The collection of artwork includes paintings, photography, sculptures and mixed media pieces.

The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday, January 16 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm and runs through February 27 at The Windsor Art Center, 40 Mechanic Street, Windsor, CT.

The Artists and schools represented are:

Gregory Bowerman – Williams School
William Butcher – Suffield Academy
Marsha Doran – Canterbury School
Jennifer McCandless – Loomis Chaffee
Carolyn Pelkey – Watkinson School
Marjorie Renno – Windsor High School

Gallery hours are: Thursday, 6:00 – 8:00 pm; Saturday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sunday, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. The exhibition is supported by a grant from the New Alliance Foundation.
