Fishing 4 Fun with kids!
The shad always return to Windsor Historical Society! No bones about it – it’s time again for some shad-themed fun! Children pre-K to grade 5 will enjoy fin-tastic outdoor activities including fishing for prizes, photo ops with Queen Roe-Ena, shad painting, shad cooking demonstration, and more! All children will receive a festive derby hat, prizes, and craft activities to take home. Join the fishy festivities on Saturday, May 11 from 11 AM to 2 PM, at Windsor Historical Society, 96 Palisado Avenue, Windsor.

Windsor Historical Society is proud to be a member of the Windsor Shad Derby Festival Bureau, and Fishing for Fun! is one of many exciting celebrations and events leading up to the traditional Shad Derby Festival on the Windsor Town Green on Saturday, May 18. We hope to see you there!
