About the Exhibit: Featuring Don Blanton and David C. Jackson, Primeval Awakening: Moving the Chains explores the Black diaspora through diverse, two-dimensional and three-dimensional media. Spanning various perspectives and experiences, this collection by an artist (Jackson) and his lifelong mentor (Blanton) is an uplifting call to continuously and courageously confront, wrestle with, and overcome limitations, and aims to spark dialogue, dispel myths, and foster understanding across humanity.
