Town staff will host an information meeting concerning the Broad Street Road Diet project on Tuesday, April 19th, starting at 6:30 PM at the Town Hall. Staff and design consultants will provide an overview of the project objectives and preliminary plans.

Earth Day Cleanup in Wilson


Earth Day Cleanup in Wilson


Saturday April 23rd from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, meet up at Sharshon Park on Skitchewaug Street.
(Rain date: May 7th). Let’s celebrate Earth Day, take pride in our community and clean up the Wilson Area! Help pick up trash and debris and make Wilson a more walkable, beautiful neighborhood. Bring a team! Gloves, bags and water will be provided to all volunteers!

Heritage Brick Ceremony


Heritage Brick Ceremony


First Town Downtown would like to cordially invite you to the Spring Heritage Brick Installation Ceremony on Saturday, April 23rd at 10:00am. The ceremony will take place at the brick patio, directly across from the Broad Street CVS in Windsor Center.

Heritage bricks are a special way for you to celebrate, honor and memorialize those you love. Friends, family and local businesses can celebrate their time in Windsor, leave their mark for future generations and reinforce how truly special the Windsor community is.

Bricks ordered between October 10, 2021 and March 15, 2022 will be installed. The next brick installation will take place in Fall 2022.
